Shopper / Trade Marketing Manager

Employment Type: Full-Time

Location: New York City and surrounding areas

Pay: Base salary + bonus + 3 weeks vacation

Position Overview

The Shopper / Trade Marketing Manager is responsible for assisting the marketing and creative teams with implementing projects for Flow. This individual will use their experience in the food & beverage industry to deliver premium online and retail activations - so omnichannel experience is a must!


  • Develop strategy and execute national / regional in-store retail programs, in collaboration with US Sales & Marketing teams (and some distributors)
  • Plan and execute the development of all display items, both existing & new, to deliver premium in-store experience across all channels
  • Tailor national programs to key retailers through tactics including loyalty, couponing shopper media, etc.
  • Support development and lead execution of trial via coupon activation in-store & digitally – tracking redemptions
  • Vendor relationship management & cost evaluation on all point-of-sale materials, couponing activities, etc.
  • Lead the evaluation of program success and provide recommendations for optimization.
  • Manage key agency partners to ensure high-quality deliverables result from agreed upon briefs.
  • Understanding of all facets of the omni-channel shopper journey, including in-store and digital touchpoints
  • Development of pitch-decks, selling tools & resources that will be used in day-to-day activities, retailer meetings, tradeshows, etc.
  • Together with the CMO, drive execution of key brand partnerships including consumer programs, sampling, digital and social initiatives, influencer management, campaign support, retail activations, etc.


  • Previous employment in marketing in the food & beverage industry
  • Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects / activities at one time
  • Effective communicator with desire to network and build relationships
  • Problem solving skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Prior experience in managing large scale events
