Software Engineer

Fil Delivery is a rapidly growing, best-in-class, beverage supply chain company. We specialize in warehousing, picking, packing, and delivery of premium craft beer, wine, and spirits across Ontario. Through innovative technology, we are continuously improving the delivery experience for our clients and their customers. We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our development team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write and review code for applications, integrations, unit tests, deployment pipelines.
• Optimize software for speed and scalability.
• Meet with stakeholders to understand business requirements.
• Design and develop from ideation to programming and implementation.
• Plan solutions to business issues and collaborate in architecture and system design.
• Participate in planning work cycles and long-term running projects.
• Develop existing programs by analyzing and identifying areas for modification.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and fix errors.

· The Azure suite of web services, including storage, messaging, and both VM-based and serverless computing.

· Acumatica ERP.

· Samsara telematics devices and services.

· Google and other mapping, planning, and route optimization services.

What we are looking for:

· University degree, diploma, or equivalent work experience.

· 4+ years of software engineering work experience.

· Experience or enthusiasm for our tech stack, appreciating that very few candidates will tick all the boxes.

· Experience working in logistics and supply chain, or excitement to work in this space.

· Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

· High level of integrity and confidentiality.
