Role Impact: Fable is looking for a data-driven and strategic Marketplaces Manager to lead and grow our Amazon, social commerce, and registry channels. This role will oversee the end-to-end performance of these platforms, including P&L ownership, inventory and sales optimization, and growth initiatives that enhance brand presence and profitability.

You will play a key role in scaling Fable’s marketplace business, ensuring our thoughtfully designed homeware reaches more customers. Working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, creative, operations, and product development, you will drive sales, maintain optimal inventory levels, and elevate the customer experience across platforms.


Responsibilities

  • Marketplace Operations & Strategy
    • Develop and execute strategies to drive sales, profitability, and brand visibility on Amazon, social commerce platforms, and registries.
    • Analyze performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and optimizations.
    • Ensure compliance with platform policies and prevent unauthorized resellers.
  • P&L Management
    • Oversee P&L for Amazon, social commerce, and registries, ensuring revenue and margin targets.
    • Manage ad spend and TACoS to balance efficiency and growth.
    • Use data-driven insights to optimize financial performance.
  • Inventory & Sales Management
    • Oversee inventory forecasting, planning, and replenishment to prevent stock issues.
    • Work cross-functionally to ensure product availability.
    • Implement strategies to improve inventory turns and reduce excess stock.
  • Performance Optimization
    • Conduct regular business reviews and implement data-backed improvements.
    • Optimize product listings (SEO, content, imagery) for discoverability and conversion.
    • Leverage analytics tools to measure success and identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
    • Align marketplace strategies with overall brand and business objectives.
    • Partner with marketing, creative, and sales teams to execute promotions and launches.
    • Build strong relationships with platform reps and vendors.


In this role we value:

  • Education & Experience
    • 3-5+ years managing Amazon or e-commerce marketplaces, ideally in consumer products.
    • Experience in P&L ownership and inventory management.
    • Expertise in Amazon Seller/Vendor Central and social commerce (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook Shops).
    • Strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and proficiency in e-commerce tools (Looker, Google Analytics).
    • Excellent project management, communication, and collaboration skills.
