Reporting into the Managing Director of U.S. Business Development and Sales, and working in collaboration with the Executive Team, you will hold the key function of Business Development within your region. You must be a self-starter, an entrepreneur and energetic, and have worked within financial services and, specifically, within the asset management and RIA/wealth advisory community. You also should come with some contacts and leads in the asset management and RIA/wealth advisory communities. You like working with and meeting new people, have excellent presentation skills (in person and via phone/screen), are committed to business results and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities within mid-to-large asset/wealth manager market. Candidate should be prepared to do so based upon their own contact list, as well as through referrals and cold-calling initiatives
  • Focus on developing and growing comprehensive relationships
  • Coordinate, plan and prepare for sales campaigns, meetings, and events, as well as coordinate sales calls and meeting follow-ups
  • Through consultation with the client, you are able to determine and demonstrate their requirements including documentation and crafting sales proposals
  • Document and maintain sales leads on the company's CRM system (Scoro), ensuring data is maintained and updated as required
  • Review, update and analyze opportunity notes and create reports for manager and senior leadership team (SLT)
  • In collaboration with the Managing Director, report and demonstrate accountability metrics and targets as well as escalate and report progress

Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher)
  • 1-3 years of sales and sales support experience
  • Knowledge of the asset management and RIA/wealth advisory functions and communities, and have good relations within these communities
  • Comfortable in working with targets and have demonstrated ability to meet or exceed expected outcomes
  • Must have inside sales experience, be highly motived, energetic and comfortable making a high volume of outbound reaches (both emails and calls with follow ups)
