Job Overview

ENZEL Stranded Gas Mining Inc. is seeking motivated, dependable, and safety-focused Field Service Technicians to support field operations throughout Alberta. As a Field Service Technician, you will assist with the installation, maintenance, inspection, operation, and servicing of field equipment, while maintaining ENZEL’s commitment to safety, professionalism, and quality workmanship. We are looking for self-starters who take initiative, work well independently, and are eager to learn and grow with the company.

Position Details

Position: Field Service Technician

Employment Type: On-Call

While this is an on-call position, work is expected to be regular and may include full-time hours, extended shifts, weekends, and overtime depending on project requirements.

Compensation: $18.00-$32.00 per hour, based on experience

Work Schedule: 8-12 hour shifts. Scheduling is driven by project demands, with periods of intensive field work that may include full-time hours, extended shifts, weekends, and overtime.

When working out of town, ENZEL provides:

Employees will be required to frequently travel to client and project sites throughout Alberta. Work-related transportation arrangements will be discussed with successful candidates.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):

·       Assisting with the installation, maintenance, inspection, and servicing of field equipment.

·       Performing preventative maintenance and routine inspections.

·       Troubleshooting basic mechanical and electrical issues.

·       Loading, unloading, transporting, and organizing equipment and materials.

·       Safely operating vehicles and towing company or client trailers when required.

·       Maintaining clean, organized, and safe work areas.

·       Completing required field documentation and reporting.

·       Following all company health, safety, and environmental procedures.

·       Working professionally with clients, contractors, and fellow team members.

·       Performing other field-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

·       A valid Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean driving record.

·       Experience towing trailers.

·       Basic mechanical experience, including oil changes, spark plug replacement, and general equipment maintenance.

·       Basic knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting.

·       Experience with welding is considered an asset.

Experience with handheld tools and power tools is considered an asset.

·       Access to a reliable personal vehicle is considered an asset.

·       A strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and take initiative.

·       A self-starter mindset, demonstrating sound judgment and the ability to identify and complete tasks with minimal supervision.

·       Strong problem-solving and time management skills.

·       Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

·       Willingness to travel and work extended shifts when required.

·       Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions.

·       Willingness to participate in future workplace health and safety initiatives, including drug and alcohol testing, should they be implemented in accordance with company policy, site requirements, and/or applicable legislation.

Required Safety Certifications

Applicants must possess, or be willing to obtain, the following certifications:

·       Standard First Aid

·       ESC H2S Alive

·       WHMIS

·       ACSA CSTS

Additional Requirements

Successful candidates must:

·       Be legally entitled to work in Canada.

·       Maintain a valid Class 5 driver’s licence throughout their employment.

·       Comply with all ENZEL health, safety, and operational policies and procedures.
