Reports to: CEO/Owner | Company: Profitable, growth-stage industrial manufacturer

About Dynamix Agitators, Inc.

We’re a manufacturer of configured-to-order industrial equipment (90% CTO) with strong international momentum and a clear next chapter: of distribution growth, and systematization.

We’re hiring a Director of Finance & Revenue Operations to build the operating system that makes margins predictable, costs controlled, and decisions fast.

The Mission

  • Job profitability is visible and explainable (quote vs actual)
  • Manufacturing and Engineering effort is planned, tracked, and managed
  • Tax Reporting and Compliance
  • Departmental Budget Controls
  • Forecasting is reliable
  • ERP selection and rollout is executed with operational buy-in

What You'll Own

  • Job costing margin control: quote-to-actual analysis, margin bridges, root-cause visibility (engineering hours, redesigns, rework, expediting, purchasing variance, subcontract, etc.)
  • Engineering cost accountability: implement mandatory weekly time tracking to job codes, establish KPIs, and build change-control tied to cost/schedule impact
  • Revenue operations discipline: milestone billing visibility, backlog/WIP clarity, pricing/margin guardrails, terms and cash timing
  • Guardian of compliance: your work will ensure that every report we submit to provincial, and federal authorities is accurate, timely, and audit-ready. You’ll be the bridge between our financial operations, external accountant and the regulatory bodies.
  • Management reporting: monthly close, quarterly actionable reporting package leadership trusts
  • Forecasting: rolling cash + margin + revenue forecasts aligned to deposits and milestones
  • ERP implementation leadership: define requirements across job costing/WIP, inventory/purchasing, billing, reporting; lead a phased rollout
  • Grant stewardship: track spend and ensure reporting is clean and audit-ready
  • Optional/Future Scope: IT and Systems vendor governance influence

What Success Looks Like (6–12 Months)

  • Quote-to-actual margin reporting is running on most jobs
  • Cost accountability operates through cadence and systems—not CEO enforcement
  • Forecasts are proactive and dependable
  • ERP is selected and implementation is underway (or Phase 1 complete)

Who You Are

  • A hands-on finance operator from manufacturing / engineered products / job shop / configured-to-order
  • Strong management accounting instincts (job costing, WIP concepts, margin analysis, operational KPIs)
  • You can drive adoption cross-functionally
  • Practical, direct, low-ego, and comfortable building from scratch

Compensation & Growth

  • Target base ~$130,000 (flex based on scope/fit) + bonus tied to measurable outcomes (margin control, reporting reliability, ERP milestones, cash/working capital improvements).
