Warehouse Associate

Tasks include:

• Safely drive a 25ft (or longer) flatbed truck or box truck or truck + open-bed towing trailer
• Carefully handle and secure load for transport including use of ratchets and straps, ropes, tarps, etc
• Drive to pick up orders from suppliers and deliver to them to their respective Branch
• Transfer product from one Branch to another via road transportation
• Maintain accurate records of transfers, deliveries and/or pick ups for inventory management
• Develop logistics plan to pick up / deliver product on-time from/to defined locations
• When not required on the road, support and collaborate with the warehouse team to pick, stage and prepare installation orders with accuracy
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment including trucks, trailers and warehouse
• Pick and pack orders according to customer specifications.
• Perform various warehouse duties including receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products.
• Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment.

Working Conditions:

• Bending, kneeling, climbing ladder and/or lifting up to 50 lbs.

Requirements:

• Valid Ontario G-Class Drivers License
• Clean Driver’s Abstract
• Clean Background Check
• Forklift license
• Experience Towing

Job Details:

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00 per hour

Benefits: Extended health care benefits after 3 months of employment.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Supplemental Pay: Overtime pay will be provided when required.
