The Role:

We are seeking a highly self-motivated and energetic Residential Sales Representative to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. The ideal candidate is customer-obsessed, detail-oriented, and thrives on delivering exceptional experiences. You’ll manage a sales territory, build lasting relationships with customers, and play a vital role in driving sales and enhancing customer satisfaction.

What you Will Do:

· Manage and grow a sales territory by building customer relationships.

· Educate customers on our garage doors and electric openers and provide a suitable solution for their needs.

· Take precise measurements and provide detailed order information.

· Prepare quotations, submit orders, and follow up with customers.

· Use company software to track leads, manage the sales pipeline, and prepare quotes.

· Identify new market opportunities and nurture relationships with potential clients.

· Become a product expert on Dodds’ offerings to confidently present solutions.

· Engage in outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach to generate leads.

· Meet and exceed sales targets consistently.

Expectations for Success:

· Sales Targets: Consistently meet or exceed individual and team sales quotas by upselling, cross-selling, and expanding the customer base.

· Lead Conversion: Maintain a high conversion rate of prospects to customers, showcasing effective sales techniques.

· Client Retention: Ensure strong customer retention rates through excellent service, follow-ups, and relationship-building.


What You Bring To The Table:

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in B2C Field sales, with a proven ability to follow up, present solutions, and close deals.

· Strong listening, communication, and multitasking skills.

· Tech-savviness and familiarity with using CRM or sales tracking software.

· Attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

· Reliable transportation and ability to commute to customer locations


Additional Role Details:

· Work Hours: Five days per week (subject to change).

· Job Type: Full-time, Permanent.

· Compensation: Commission-based with a base salary during training. Total earnings potential is uncapped.
