Dodds Garage Doors (Dodds) is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Residential Sales Manager to lead and grow our Business-to-Consumer (B2C) team. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, thrive under pressure, excel in problem-solving, and inspire their team to achieve outstanding results. As a driven self-starter, you will play a pivotal role in building a top-performing team and driving business growth.

As a sales manager, you will demonstrate a proven ability to achieve sales growth and cultivate a results-focused, collaborative field sales team. Success requires the ability to quickly adapt to a changing environment, guide others effectively, and inspire confidence in navigating new challenges. You will oversee a team of at least 10 in-home and inside sales representatives across our offices in Ontario.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Performance: Lead, mentor, and guide the field sales team by setting clear goals, expectations, and performance benchmarks.

· Hiring & Training: Recruit and train qualified sales professionals, equipping them with company policies, sales techniques, and product knowledge while providing ongoing coaching and professional development opportunities.

· Support: Advocate for team members’ professional growth by providing ongoing coaching and guidance.

· Culture: Cultivate a collaborative, high-performing, growth-focused team culture emphasizing continuous improvement.

· Strategy: Implement and execute creative strategic sales plans to align with and achieve organizational goals.

· Reports: Monitor team performance, analyze results, and deliver detailed reports to senior leadership, highlighting opportunities for optimization.

· Research: Leverage market trends and customer feedback to refine sales strategies and enhance the sales funnel.

· Marketing: collaborate with marketing to create campaigns that align with sales goals and generate leads.

· Travel: visit Dodds offices across Ontario (day trips)


Expectations for Success

· Total Sales: Monitor revenue generated to ensure alignment with company targets.

· Total Gross Margin: Measure profitability by calculating revenue minus the cost of goods sold.

· Close Rate: Track the percentage of leads converted into successful sales to gauge team effectiveness.

· Average Dollar per Sale: Evaluate average revenue per transaction to assess upselling and customer value.


Compensation: $85,000 - $120,000

Job Type: Full-time, permanent, 5x a week in office
