Manager, Talent Acquisition – About this role

We are seeking a Manager, Talent Acquisition to lead and execute end-to-end recruitment efforts across the organization. This role will play a critical part in shaping our hiring strategy, partnering closely with hiring managers, and ensuring an exceptional candidate experience. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience recruiting for roles within the technology industry, along with a passion for building strong teams in a fast-paced, growing environment.


Your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Talent Acquisition & Recruitment

  • Lead and execute all aspects of the talent acquisition lifecycle, including:
    • Collaborating with hiring managers to establish role specifications and develop role-specific recruitment strategies
    • Managing job postings and promoting open roles through appropriate internal and external channels
    • Actively sourcing, engaging, and pursuing qualified external candidates, with a strong focus on technology-related roles
    • Screening resumes and evaluating candidates based on role qualifications
    • Coordinating interviews and managing external candidate inquiries
    • Conducting HR screening calls
    • Coordinating candidate assessments and providing timely feedback
    • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date candidate information and search progress within the applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Assist in the creation and execution of an overall recruitment strategy to enhance best practices and expand sourcing opportunities
  • Act as a trusted consultant to hiring managers, partnering with them to determine staffing needs, role requirements, and hiring decisions
  • Champion diversity hiring initiatives and ensure inclusive recruitment practices
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and data privacy regulations throughout the recruitment process


Candidate Experience & Employer Brand

  • Create interview guides aligned with established job competencies
  • Ensure a positive and engaging candidate experience through consistent communication and follow-up
  • Increase awareness of Dig Insights as an employer of choice through employer brand and talent attraction initiatives
  • Act as a brand ambassador and champion of Dig’s culture and values


Partnerships & Continuous Improvement

  • Manage relationships with post-secondary institutions for recruitment purposes, as required
  • Ensure hiring practices are followed consistently, fairly, and in alignment with internal policies
  • Stay informed on recruitment trends, technology hiring practices, and industry best practices
  • Serve as a point of contact for HR-related inquiries from employees
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve the employee experience and evolve HR practices and processes


Experience, Skills and Requirements:

  • 3-5 years proven experience in a Talent Acquisition or Recruitment-focused role
  • Demonstrated experience recruiting for roles within the technology industry (for example: product, data, engineering, AI etc.)
  • Experience partnering with hiring managers and influencing hiring decisions
  • Strong sourcing, screening, and candidate assessment skills
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruitment tools
  • Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
