Manager, Insights – About this role
The Manager, Insights plays a vital role in supporting the execution and delivery of client projects. The Manager, Insights typically has 2-4 years of experience in a research role and is responsible for contributing to and overseeing end-to-end qualitative research projects while working closely with their team, including the VP, Director and Analyst. In addition to enhancing their foundational skills as a researcher, the Manager, Insights at Dig is encouraged to engage with our vibrant company culture and make the most of this dynamic phase in their career.
Your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Executing all aspects of a qualitative research project from start to finish. This includes project design, developing screener and guides, overseeing screener and online research programming and testing, facilitation of qualitative research, monitoring fieldwork and data collection, performing analysis, and writing reports.
- Overseeing project management and ensuring timely, quality deliverables according to project design.
- Performing secondary research to support primary research-based implications.
- Managing field suppliers to ensure that projects are delivered on time and on budget.
- Contributing to client meetings as an active participant in delivering superior client service.
- Act as contact in support of Senior Management.
Experience, Skills and Requirements:
- 2-4 years of relevant experience (position level dependent upon experience level). Previous experience of qualitative is a plus
- University Degree and/or Post-Graduate Certificate in a relevant field (Market Research, Business Insights, Marketing, or other)
- Solid English communication skills, both written and oral are required (French skills/ other languages are a plus!)
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Office Suite are required
- Able to work within a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Ability to meet tight deadlines, while maintaining close attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Enjoys having conversations with others, naturally inquisitive and curious
