VP, Upsiide Program Sales – About this role
- This is an individual contributor sales role that is accountable for meeting our corporate goals for selling significant, multi-year Upsiide programs
- A “program” is defined as Upsiide deployed as a core part of the client’s research and/or innovation process, with significant contracts that include software licenses, respondent sample, and service retainers
- This role will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all Upsiide program selling, leading the sales process for all assigned accounts and opportunities
- Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, this role will help inform organizational strategies to continue our sales growth of Upsiide programs
- The expectation is for this role to develop to a team leadership role, responsible for individual sales as well as a team of Upsiide sellers focused on meeting the company’s growth goals
Your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Drive the end-to-end process for selling Upsiide programs
- Partner with consulting teams to understand the Upsiide program opportunities within Dig’s existing customer base
- Identify the client stakeholders who will be users, influencers, and decision makers for an Upsiide program; develop an outreach plan to gain the appropriate audiences to progress the sale
- Conduct program discovery to understand the specific needs and how Upsiide will deliver client value
- Develop bespoke pitch materials that persuasively communicate Upsiide’s fulfillment of the client needs
- Develop proposals, including pricing structures
- Navigate global decision-makers to have Upsiide programs vetted and deployed
- Manage the entire sales process; accountable for winning the opportunity
- Lead Upsiide program selling in new business targets
- Conduct proactive outreach to uncover Upsiide program opportunities with net-new business targets
- The candidate should have a sufficient network to source their own set of leads, in addition to the leads provided by marketing
- Accountable for renewal upsell for Upsiide programs
- Partner with internal teams to understand buying and usage dynamics, client use cases, and satisfaction
- Guide the renewal process to maximize client value and account growth
- Continuously evolve selling materials and tactics for Upsiide programs
Experience, Skills and Requirements:
- Proven success in meeting and exceeding sales targets
- 10+ years of experience selling market research technology software
- Strong credibility in consulting on the client’s research and innovation process
- Demonstrated expertise in selling large global contracts to companies in CPG, retail, QSR, financial services, and/or telecommunications industries
- Personal skills that engender trust and camaraderie with EVP/VP Consulting teams
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills – strong executive presence
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships at senior level (VP/C-Suite); experience navigating global procurement and COE teams at the client
- Able to work within a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Entrepreneurial, proactive, and solutions-oriented
- University Degree and/or Post-Graduate Certificate in Business, Marketing or relevant field
