VP, Enterprise Acquisition Sales - About this role

  • · This is an Individual contributor “land and expand” sales role focused on landing new business within our target segments, including CPG, QSR, retail, technology, financial services, telecommunications, or other relevant industries, and then expanding our reach across stakeholders, geographies, and areas of portfolio to maximize client growth.
  • The VP Enterprise Acquisition Sales will sell across the full portfolio, including Dig consulting services (quantitative and qualitative), Upsiide (our agile research platform), and newly acquired capabilities in trends and innovation.
  • A significant focus will be selling Upsiide as a “program” – that is, a core part of the client’s research or innovation process, with large contracts including license, sample, and services.


Your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop the targeted strategy to earn net-new business.
    • Identify target accounts and develop stakeholder maps to understand the potential buyers/users, key decision makers, and influencers.
    • Leverage a myriad of tactics to conduct outreach, including email automation, Linkedin prospecting, video outreach, and traditional methods like calls and in-person engagement – tracking all activity in our CRM.
  • Lead capabilities presentations and solution-specific pitches based on healthy discovery.
    • Credibly and persuasively represent all our capabilities, including quantitative methods, qualitative methods, trends & innovation, analytics, and technologies like Upsiide and Virtual Market.
  • Partner with Consulting VPs/EVPs and Customer Success and Enablement teams to develop compelling proposals and bespoke selling materials.
  • Manage the sales process, including pitching, scoping, proposing, negotiating, and winning the opportunity.


Experience, Skills and Requirements:

  • · Proven success in meeting and exceeding new business sales targets
  • Strong market research acumen, ideally with experience as the consultant/researcher
  • Experience selling research technology software, including SaaS selling
  • Passion for building new business, with a diverse set of tactics in your toolbox
  • Strong client network in CPG, QSR, retail, technology, financial services, telecommunications, or other relevant industries
  • Experience in new business development and intellectual curiosity for leveraging technology and automation in the process
  • Personal skills that engender trust and camaraderie with EVP/VP Consulting teams
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills – strong executive presence
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships at senior level (VP/C-Suite)
  • Able to work within a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Entrepreneurial, proactive, and solutions-oriented
  • Highly collaborative and well regarded by cross-functional team members
  • University Degree and/or Post-Graduate Certificate in Business, Marketing or relevant field
