Dig insights is looking for a dedicated and passionate Analyst, Insights to join our growing Chicago office.
Analyst, Insights – About this role
Working closely with the Managers and Directors on their team, the Analyst provides essential support to their team in order to help execute and deliver client projects. Charting data and coordinating project inputs is a large requirement of the role. Research analysts work diligently to learn and then demonstrate the technical skills and knowledge of various research techniques, statistical methods, charting abilities and project coordination. In addition to growing their fundamental skill set as a researcher through working on active projects, Dig offers a variety of ongoing training opportunities to build everyone’s skill sets. Your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Operations:
- Coordinate inputs for research projects
- Coordinate translation requests and delivery
- Coordinate coding requests and review delivery
- Write/update basic survey questionnaires
- Program basic surveys & test survey links
- Manipulate respondent level data
Analysis & Reporting:
- Review and analyze survey results
- Create reports/presentations from templates
- Pull data into report / chart data
- Source images/infographics to enhance deliverable
Client Service:
- Attend client meetings and presentations
- Learn about client business and industry issues via secondary sources
- Manage client access to data platform and address client support requests
Experience, Skills and Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant field (Market Research, Business, Marketing or other related fields)
- 1-3 years of experience as an Analyst in an Insights role is an asset
- Strong English communication skills, both written and oral are required
- Proficiency in SPSS and/or Q is an asset
- Excellent skills in Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Office Suite are required
- Questionnaire writing and survey programming is a big bonus
- Ability to thrive within a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Ability to meet tight deadlines, while maintaining close attention to detail
- Demonstrated work ethic, integrity and professional conduct
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Effective interpersonal, communication and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Applicant must be eligible to work in the United States
