Our Product Manager doesn’t work in a silo but rather is integrated with our leadership team and build cycles. Working closely with engineers and making day-to-day decisions about UX and functionality as new uses and edge cases are discovered. Ensuring we are always executing against shared product values and vision.

As Product Manager, you will:

  • Become an expert in our users and advocating for their needs.
  • Gather requirements and create specifications for the engineering team.
  • Work closely with design and engineering before and during build cycles.
  • Be the person ultimately responsible for the product end state.
  • Hold regular stand-ups and ensure work is planned and being executed on to spec during build cycle.
  • Assist in build cycle planning, issue management, and acceptance.
  • Work with team to develop quarterly OKRs and ensure product direction is impacting them.
  • Communicate roadmap, release planning, and product priorities across the company.
  • Talk to users and conduct research to develop a foundation for decision making and product direction.
  • Create buy-in and build consensus across key stakeholders in the company.
  • Collaborate closely with design to translate requirements into UI and UX tasks.
  • Work closely with stakeholders and QA to develop clear acceptance criteria.
  • Assist with the development of standard processes and documentation for implementation and deployment.
  • Continuously analyze usage and behaviour data to improve product and inform roadmap.
  • Be the nexus between the product team and rest of the business.

Does this sound like you?

  • You are willing to roll up your sleeves to help the team however you can.
  • Have experience taking a concept from idea to launch.
  • A solid problem solver who is always ready to pivot when things don’t go as planned.
  • Have a solid understanding of PM development approaches (like Agile or Shape-Up).
  • You drive collaboration and have been a part of cross functional teams that are working to build products.
  • You are a clear communicator, able to explain technical needs to a non-technical audience and vice-versa. You can clearly lead communication on technical requirements to engineers/developers.
  • Experience prioritizing competing objectives and communicating rationale for complicated decision-making.
  • Ability to self-manage, juggle multiple priorities, and adhere to internal timelines and deadlines when needed.
  • Comfortable presenting and proposing new ideas to senior management.
  • You have a passion for user experience: You have a great design sense and deep customer empathy, and you enjoy spending the time to craft just the right experience.
