Co-Founder & CTO, New Venture: AI-Native Investment Banking Platform

The Opportunity

Investment banking remains one of the last major professional services categories largely untouched by automation. Deals are still executed through labor-intensive workflows that are slow and expensive, leaving clients and bankers to rely on manual processes.

We see a major opportunity to build a modern AI-native platform focused on helping business owners sell their business, while ensuring owners get access to senior experienced advisors to maximize exit outcomes.

This venture has been significantly de-risked, with a developed product thesis, validated unit economics, and encouraging early signals from prospective clients, advisors, partners, and investors.

Who We Are Looking For

We are assembling a dream team of entrepreneurs, technologists, and financial experts, and we are now seeking a Co-Founder & CTO to lead and execute the product vision. If you are up for it, you will:

• Execute, build upon, and scale the business’ product and technology vision, while empowering the team to take ownership of the vision and drive the company’s success. 
• Drive the design, execution and implementation of the venture’s platform, ensuring it is built with ease-of-use, scalability and performance in mind. 
• Build a high-performing technical team, including recruitment, retention, and professional development of early hires. 
• Continuously review the latest technologies and trends to identify opportunities to enhance the venture’s product offerings, improve the user experience, and ensure it remains at the cutting edge.
• Engage with the CEO, investors, and stakeholders to align technology with business objectives. Actively solicit feedback and explore opportunities where technology can provide a competitive advantage.

Background & Experience

• 0 to 1 product building experience: Proven track record of building product roadmaps based on user feedback and developing products with strong UI/UX, excellent performance and resilience.
• Proven technical leadership: Demonstrated experience in providing technical leadership. Track record of identifying and hiring top talent, evidence of followership, developing and leading high-performance teams
• AI experience: Proven track record of successfully deploying AI-powered products at scale, managing the entire lifecycle of AI product development, including data acquisition, model training, deployment, and iteration. Ability to understand complex workflows and design AI solutions and interfaces that deliver efficiency and value
• Strong communication skills: Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience working with investors and boards is a plus.
• Risk and security awareness: Expertise in identifying and mitigating technical risks, including security vulnerabilities and performance bottlenecks. Familiarity with secure coding practices and compliance in cloud environments.

Other Desirable Assets

• Relevant industry experience: M&A, investment banking, capital markets, financial services
• Experience developing AI-native tools
• Experience being founder / co-founder or early hire in a venture-backed company
