Co-Founder & CTO, New Venture: Treasury & FX Risk Management Platform

We are launching an end-to-end FX risk management platform that helps global companies transform how they manage treasury data, FX exposure, and hedging workflows. Orbit is designed to become the independent system of record and intelligence layer for corporate treasury, starting with FX risk management and expanding across broader hedging and treasury use cases over time.

We are seeking an entrepreneurial Co-Founder & Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to architect, build, and scale the platform from MVP to enterprise-grade product. This is a founding role with meaningful equity, deep ownership of technical strategy, and direct influence on Orbit’s long-term vision.

The Opportunity

Global enterprises are more complex, data-heavy, and exposed to market volatility than ever before - yet the internal systems that support finance decision-making haven’t kept up. Many organizations still depend on spreadsheets and manual workflows for critical forecasting, reporting, and control processes, creating inefficiencies that cost millions annually and limit strategic insight.

We see a major opportunity to build a modern platform that unifies financial data, automates critical workflows, and delivers real-time insight to treasury teams overseeing risk, liquidity, and performance. Early market validation from corporate finance and bank leaders points to a large and urgent pain point - one that existing tools and legacy systems have failed to solve.

This venture has been significantly de-risked, with product-market validation from enterprise treasurers, early design partners, and a solid commercial pipeline.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for a technical co-founder who is excited to build a category-defining enterprise platform from the ground up. You will own the technical vision and execution end-to-end, while working closely with the CEO, product leadership, and early customers. If you are up for it, you will:

• Define and own the technical vision and architecture for the venture, including data ingestion, normalization, analytics, and AI-ready foundations
• Design and build a modern, scalable, enterprise-grade SaaS platform, from MVP through production
• Select the technology stack and establish best practices for security, reliability, and performance
• Lead execution with existing enterprise build partners to deliver a working MVP with real customer usage
• Build and lead a high-caliber engineering team as the company scales
• Partner closely with product and business leaders to translate treasury workflows into intuitive technical solutions
• Lead technical discussions with enterprise customers, including IT, security, and data teams
• Ensure the platform meets enterprise expectations for data governance, controls, and compliance

Background & Experience

• Proven experience building and shipping B2B SaaS products from 0→1 and beyond
• Strong full-stack and systems architecture background, including data platforms and APIs
• Experience integrating with complex enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, TMS, banking, or financial data sources)
• Demonstrated ability to design scalable data models and analytics pipelines
• Experience implementing AI/ML capabilities, particularly analytics, automation, or LLM-enabled workflows
• Experience hiring, leading, and scaling engineering teams
