Job Description:

Cosmos Sports & Entertainment is scouting for committed, creative, and outgoing individuals with a passion for sport business, proposal development, marketing, and research analysis. The Business Development Executive internship provides a hands-on learning experience for those eager to obtain a position in the sport industry. Working with the Director of Business Development, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Create both Sponsorship and New Business proposals for prospective brands and clientele on Canva Pro;
• Contribute to group and/or individual research assignments as they relate to prospecting and new business development.
• Collaborate with Cosmos’ new business team to research potential and new clients.
• Assisting the Marketing Team to design creative collateral for Cosmos' social media accounts and existing marketing clients.
• Working with senior Marketing staff to develop marketing strategies.
• Attending weekly sponsorship & marketing meetings with supervisors to discuss upcoming targets and objectives.

Qualifications:

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE POSITION YOU MUST BE CURRENTLY ENROLLED IN AN ACCREDITED COLLEGE/UNIVERSITY PROGRAM IN WHICH THE INTERNSHIP WILL COUNT TOWARDS A SCHOOL CREDIT.

Preference will be given to candidates who are currently enrolled in college/university programs relevant to Business/Sport Business, Marketing, Graphic Design, or related fields of study.

What YOU will bring to Cosmos Sports:

Ability to work as an effective team player, as well as independently

Ability to effectively manage multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities, meet deadlines and work well under pressure

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong understanding of Canva Pro

Previous experience in graphic design and marketing is an asset

This internship will be a REMOTE opportunity with on-site office access available.
