Cosmos Sports & Entertainment is actively seeking a creative, enthusiastic and motivated self-starter to join our team as a Marketing & Operations Coordinator. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the successful candidate will have the unique opportunity to join our youthful, dynamic, and highly successful marketing team and will also see themselves play an integral role in helping our team continue to exceed expectations and targets for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing & Digital Media (2/3):

  • Contribute to all marketing projects and the creation of sponsorship decks for Cosmos and their properties
  • Design, develop, and update the Cosmos website with weekly news, press releases, case studies, and blog posts
  • Assist with managing all social media channels by creating and curating content for Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok
  • Design graphics, shoot and edit videos for social media and website
  • Ensure all marketing materials and deliverables are being met for both Cosmos and their properties
  • Design and develop email marketing campaigns for clients through owned, earned, and paid media
  • Develop and organize the company’s content calendar ensuring all ideas and projects are completed on time
  • Contribute to brainstorm sessions and ideation
  • Report all analytical data of the company’s performance on social media and the website to senior staff for better integration and implementation of strategic marketing practices that will help grow the Cosmos brand
  • Contribute to all marketing calls by providing updates and support to all members of the marketing team as well as the sales and sponsorship team

Operations & Events (1/3):

  • Contribute to the planning and logistics of client or company events from ideation to execution while also serving as the photographer and videographer at the events
  • Work closely with internal departments on a wide range of projects and events
  • Work closely with different departments to plan and execute events and experiential activations for both our core business and our clients
  • Attend all company and client events as required
  • Take internal and external briefs and assist with end-to-end project management process on a wide range of different projects
  • Develop creative event and activation pitch proposals while communicating proposals clearly and effectively to internal and external clients
  • Ensure our programs are executed with excellence and deliver on all objectives and KPIs
  • Simultaneously manage multiple projects
  • Responsible for calendar management, meeting scheduling/coordination, compilation of reports, preparing appropriate materials for meetings and other administrative duties as assigned
  • Organize the office, prioritizing the President’s daily activities and adjusting as required, providing briefings, preparing correspondence, arranging teleconference calls etc.
  • Provide administrative support to the team, including booking travel and accommodations
  • Manage daily phone calls, voice mail and email inquiries, prioritizing and responding to all requests in a professional, customer focused and confidential manner

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years experience in a creative or digital marketing role
  • A university or college degree in marketing, communications, graphic design or other related field
  • Graphic design, photography, and video editing experience required
  • Strong communication skills both verbally and written
  • Highly motivated, organized, and detail oriented
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team as well as independently
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and perform multiple tasks at a time
  • Strong knowledge of all the Adobe Suite Programs including Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, InDesign, After Effects, and more
  • Extensive knowledge in owned, earned, and paid media campaigns
  • Strong understanding of social media and best practices
  • Knowledge of SEO and SEM processes considered an asset
  • Knowledge of Wordpress and basic HTML and CSS considered an asset
  • Experience using Canva, Mailchimp, Google Analytics, and Clickup considered an asset
  • Strong track record of collaborating with cross functional partners
  • Outstanding communicator, both written and verbal
  • Self-motivated and eager to take on new challenges
  • G License and access to a vehicle
