About Macabacus

About the role:

Reporting to Manager, Student Support, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Utilizing a thorough knowledge of Macabacus software to provide internal and external support
  • Conducting product demonstrations for current and prospective customers
  • Supporting the sales and customer success teams during customer calls when a Macabacus expert is needed in order to support new business sales, expanding customer accounts, and retaining existing customers
  • Responding to a range of customer inquiries via ticket, email, chat, or phone in a timely manner
  • Providing support to Support Level I team members, ensuring support requests are fully resolved in a timely manner
  • Troubleshooting product bugs and working with Product and Engineering teams to effectively prioritize and manage resolution
  • Preparing and maintaining Macabacus sales enablement and technical support documentation
  • Striving for exceptional CSAT scores

What we’re looking for:

  • Minimum of two years of customer service or customer support experience
  • Intermediate to advanced working understanding Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint tools
  • Background in finance or tech industries is helpful
  • Experience in a sales role is helpful
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to take a complex topic and make it easy for others to understand
  • Confident and friendly public speaker with the ability to lead group discussions, trainings, webinars, and product demonstrations with ease and preparedness
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high performing environment
  • Enthusiastic attitude and eagerness to learn
  • Patient demeanor when working with others
