JOB DESCRIPTION

TITLE: Drapery and Blind Cleaning Technician

DEPARTMENT: Production

REPORTS TO: Production Manager

SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday 730am to 430pm

REVISED: December 11, 2025

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under general supervision, perform Drapery and Blind cleaning and repair services as required. Complete daily paperwork.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Review invoices to reconcile orders and perform the “mark in” process.

· Effectively discuss cleaning expectations with Management, Sales Team and Customers.

· Identify different types of Drapery and blinds and follow proper cleaning methods.

· Correctly and efficiently identify repairs .

· Upsell repairs and other services and products.

· Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.

· Maintain parts and tools inventory.

· Maintain equipment, perform and schedule maitenance

· Handle customer complaints and challenging situations in a professional manner.

· Resolve customer complaints in a manner mutually satisfactory to both customer and company. Access relevant information and contact appropriate personnel.

· Provide timely feedback to the Company regarding service failures or customer concerns.

· Follow all safety instructions and wear appropriate safety wear and equipment.

· Meet company standards for attendance and punctuality.

OTHER DUTIES:

· Attend training meetings as required

· All other duties as assigned.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

· Excellent communication skills and correct English usage

· Courteous and clear telephone voice

· Excellent customer service skills

· Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

· Ability to calculate figures and amounts

· Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. continuously

· Industry experience helpful (Blind or Drapery cleaning and repairs)
