Casual Out of School Care Educator

Kids@ Churchill Park is seeking qualified, nurturing early childhood educators to join our on-call substitute list at our Connaught out of school care program.

We are looking for individuals who want to work but want the freedom to choose shifts to meet their own schedules. Coverage is required for our educators during non-school days, summer break, and staff absences. There is also the possibility of being hired permanently if a position becomes available.

• Children enrolled from kindergarten to 12 years old
• Total of 3-4 staff
• Hours of Operation: 7:00am – 8:30am, 11:00am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday
• Location: 1121 12 Ave SW, Calgary AB, T2R0J8

Qualifications, Skills and Professional Attributes

• Alberta Child Care Certification level 1-3
• Experience with school aged children an asset
• Valid First Aid Certificate
• Current Police Security Check including Vulnerable Sector Search
• Demonstrate knowledge of current best practices and work standards in Early Learning and Childhood Care and Education
• Demonstrate knowledge of Alberta Child Care Licensing Regulation
