Role
As a Director of Client Delivery & Success, you will be accountable for portfolio performance, client trust, and commercial sustainability across all service engagements.
You will lead the Project Management function and ensure predictable, high-quality delivery across multiple concurrent programs. Acting as the executive liaison for strategic accounts, you will build long-term client partnerships while safeguarding delivery governance, profitability, and operational discipline.
You will work closely with Engineering, Operations, and Sales to:
- Ensure alignment between client expectations, delivery feasibility, and business objectives
- Maintain full portfolio visibility and proactively manage risk
- Protect delivery margins while driving predictable outcomes
- Strengthen executive-level client relationships
- Enable account growth and long-term retention
This role sits at the intersection of client strategy, delivery governance, and commercial performance, with direct impact on Chrono’s scalability and reputation.
Key Responsibilities
Chrono Innovation is looking for a Director of Client Delivery & Success who will:
Client Leadership & Executive Partnership
- Build and maintain trusted executive-level relationships with key clients
- Act as executive sponsor for strategic accounts
- Lead QBRs and governance forums to ensure alignment and transparency
- Protect and strengthen long-term client partnerships
Portfolio Governance & Predictable Delivery
- Own full portfolio visibility across accounts, priorities, and delivery health
- Define and enforce delivery frameworks, KPIs, and operating cadence
- Ensure consistent standards in reporting, forecasting, and execution discipline
- Drive predictable outcomes across multiple concurrent programs
Commercial & Profitability Ownership
- Own delivery profitability (burn vs. budget, margin control, trade-offs)
- Make structured decisions balancing client satisfaction and financial sustainability
- Ensure scope alignment and commercial discipline across engagements
Risk Management & Escalation Leadership
- Identify delivery and client risks early
- Lead mitigation strategies and executive escalations when required
- Protect client trust during complex or high-pressure situations
Cross-Functional Alignment
- Collaborate with the Director of Engineering & Delivery on capacity trade-offs and feasibility
- Align with Product and Operations to ensure cohesive execution
- Translate executive strategy into operational delivery plans
Account Growth & Retention
- Identify expansion opportunities in partnership with Sales
- Oversee account health tracking and renewal strategy
- Drive long-term value creation within strategic accounts
PM Leadership & Organizational Maturity
- Lead, coach, and elevate the Project Management function
- Strengthen delivery discipline, forecasting accuracy, and operational maturity
- Build scalable systems and processes to support Chrono’s growth
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in software delivery, program management, or client-facing leadership roles
- Proven experience leading portfolio-level delivery across multiple concurrent programs
- Strong background in client-facing environments, ideally within consulting or services-based organizations
- Demonstrated ownership of delivery governance, operational cadence, and performance metrics
- Experience managing commercial aspects of delivery (burn vs. budget, trade-offs, margin control)
- Experience leading and developing Project Managers or delivery teams
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and engineering constraints
- Experience collaborating closely with technical leadership on feasibility and capacity alignment

- .NET
- React / Vue

- MongoDB / PostgreSQL / MySQL
- Cloud-native and CI/CD environments
- AI: Claude Code / Claude /Chatgpt
While this is not a hands-on engineering role, the Director of Client Delivery & Success must:
- Understand modern web application architecture and delivery constraints
- Be comfortable discussing technical feasibility and trade-offs with Engineering leadership
- Interpret delivery risks related to scalability, integrations, and release cycles
- Align client expectations with technical realities
A strong understanding of Agile software delivery environments and cross-functional collaboration between Product, Engineering, and Delivery teams is essential.
