Senior Director of Partnerships
Location: Office/Remote/HybridDepartment: Sales & Revenue - Business Development & PartnershipsReports to: Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) / CEO
About the role
Chrono Innovation is seeking a Senior Director of Partnerships to play a pivotal role in driving growth, expanding our platform's ecosystem, and achieving ambitious revenue targets. This leader will oversee all aspects of partnerships across platform and service revenue streams, including:
- Identifying and acquiring key partners
- Developing co-marketing and co-selling opportunities
- Aligning partnerships with product and marketing teams to ensure long-term success
This role will also contribute to shaping our sales organization into a high-performance, customer-centric team that consistently meets and exceeds ARR targets, while ensuring our partnerships create measurable value for our clients and partners.
We are looking for someone who is not seeking a managerial role, but rather thrives on creating opportunities, driving revenue, and delivering tangible business impact. You will be a solo contributor but will have the opportunity to scale the function with Account Managers in the future.

Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Partnership Development
- Be the primary point of contact for all partnerships across both platform and service revenue streams.
- Lead the acquisition of new partners, identifying and engaging both paid and organic opportunities to expand ChronoPlatform’s reach and relevance.
- Develop a targeted list of high-potential partners, leveraging personal connections and industry insights to create mutually beneficial relationships.
- Build strategic alignment with key partners, including those for:
- Direct integrations into ChronoPlatform.
- Collaboration with Chrono Innovation’s engineering professional services team.
2. Revenue Growth
- Own 20% of Chrono Innovation’s total revenue with +18% YoY growth.
- Design and execute go-to-market plans that maximize partner-attributed revenue.
- Identify market trends and expand ChronoPlatform’s market relevance through high-impact partnerships.
3. Ecosystem Building and Partner Enablement
- Build an ecosystem of high-value complementary partners that seamlessly integrate with ChronoPlatform.
- Develop and implement custom enablement programs tailored to each partner’s needs.
- Collaborate with partners to create co-branded solutions, bundled offerings, and integration opportunities.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with the marketing team to design and execute co-marketing campaigns, including joint webinars, thought leadership content, and case studies with key partners.
- Align with the product team to ensure partner feedback informs platform improvements and integration opportunities.
- Train the sales team on how to leverage partnerships effectively and align with partner-driven priorities.
5. Market Leadership & Brand Growth
- Position ChronoPlatform as a major player in the productivity and R&D management software industry.
- Represent ChronoPlatform at industry events, conferences, and partner sites (this role requires regular travel).
- Drive thought leadership through published content and public speaking engagements.
Key Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or strategic alliances, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven ability to lead complex negotiations and close high-value partnership deals.
- Familiarity with CRM and marketing tools such as HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce, and ABM platforms.
- English fluency required, proficiency in French
- Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills, with an entrepreneurial mindset.
Preferred Industry Experience
- SaaS/PaaS: Proven success in partnerships within SaaS/PaaS ecosystems and professional services organizations.
Core Skills
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to design and execute long-term partnership roadmaps.
- Revenue Generation: Proven success in creating co-selling and co-marketing initiatives that directly impact ARR growth.
- Relationship Management: Ability to build and maintain high-value partnerships with senior stakeholders.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven track record of working with sales, marketing, and product teams to align on shared objectives.
