Who We Are Looking For

You are a skilled IT professional with at least one year of experience in IT support. You have strong problem-solving skills and enjoy finding ways to improve or enhance an organization’s ability to accomplish its mission using IT tools. You are self-organizing, able to assess priorities and use time effectively to accomplish the necessary outcomes on your own, but you also enjoy collaboration and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for staff support requests related to hardware, software, and internal systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve common IT issues (devices, accounts, permissions, collaboration tools, etc.).
  • Support internal tools such as CRMs, project management platforms, file storage systems, and communication tools.
  • Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and common support issues.
  • Coordinate with external vendors or service providers as needed.

  • Ability to translate technical issues into plain language for non-technical staff.

Hours, Location, and Salary

This position is full-time (40 hours/week) and works from one of our beautiful office in Hamilton or Ottawa. Cardus permits work-from-home one day a week; the other four days will be in the office. Some travel (approximately 20 days/year) is required. Salary is commensurate with qualifications; salary range is $65,000–$90,000.
