We are looking for an experienced, creative, and skilled Web Designer with a passion for digital marketing to join our dynamic team!
The Web Designer is responsible and accountable for the end-to-end design process of digital design elements of websites, landing pages, banners, displays, infographics, social posts and other marketing elements that may be needed. This process includes, but is not limited to, client meetings to establish a thorough brand and objective understanding, design research, job stories, journey mapping, content modeling, wire-framing, prototyping, user testing, application of successful UI/UX concepts and visuals to achieve successful design solutions and marketing results. The Web Designer will work collaboratively cross-departmentally to ensure that design elements are delivering continuous improvements on client lead generations and conversions, within budget, and on time. At times, if within the scope of the project, the Web Designer will conduct user research and make the necessary adjustments to the design elements to ensure the continued success of the design and marketing results.

This is a full-time position, working in a hybrid model. Candidates should be able to travel to our Studio in Oakville, Ontario, Canada.

Key Actions - Web Designer
- Design websites, landing pages, banners, displays, infographics, and other digital assets, demonstrating a thorough understanding of successful design and marketing principles
- Meet with clients to gain a deep understanding of their brand, business objectives, project scope, and marketing goals
- Educate clients on UI/UX principles, their importance, and how they contribute to effective design and marketing results
- Conceptualize, create, and implement graphic elements, user interfaces, and page layouts while adhering to client brand guidelines and objectives
- Conduct comprehensive design research, including job stories, journey mapping, content modeling, wireframing, prototyping, user testing, and visual development to create impactful design solutions
- Collaborate with relevant departments to develop creative and strategic designs that leverage UI/UX best practices for optimal user experience and engagement
- Utilize UI/UX principles to enhance lead generation and conversion rates for client projects
- Continuously refine and optimize the design and production process to improve efficiency and output quality
- Implement user and research-driven design adjustments to maximize marketing success and user engagement
- Conduct user research and testing when necessary to ensure final deliverables are user-centered and performance-driven
- Provide regular updates on project timelines, budgets, and milestones to the Team Lead
- Support the video and photography department with digital assets and design elements as needed
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends, new strategies, and case studies in digital design, UI/UX, and lead generation marketing
- Ensure all design deliverables are accessible, mobile-responsive, and aligned with industry standards
- Experiment with new design technologies, AI-driven tools, and interactive elements to push the boundaries of digital design
- Work closely with developers to ensure design feasibility, smooth implementation, and functional integrity across digital platforms
- Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing sessions, mentoring junior designers and fostering a culture of innovation
- Present creative concepts with professionalism and confidence, both internally and to clients
- Revise and refine designs based on feedback from the ECD, Client Leadership Team, and clients in a timely manner
- Work closely with the Team Lead, Executive Creative Director (ECD) and Client Leadership Team to align design strategies with business objectives
- Experiment with emerging design trends, tools, and technologies to enhance creative output including AI integration
- Work with the Project Manager (if assigned) to plan project milestones and stay on schedule and on budget
- Maintain and update project tracking tools such as Toggl and Monday Boards in line with department processes
Requirements
- Be legally eligible to work in Canada
- Post-secondary credentials in an applicable technology or design field
- 5+ years of experience
- Advanced knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Experience with design software and wireframe tools (wireframe.cc, InVision, Sketch and Zeplin)
- Excellent written and oral skills
- Experience in design and image creation
- Experience in Canva, Sketch, or Adobe Products
- Easily learn new software (reporting, tracking, AI)
- Proficient in an Apple and Google Drive environment
