The Paid Media Manager is responsible and accountable for executing, optimizing, and scaling paid media campaigns across search and paid social platforms. The Paid Media Manager owns the creation and development of paid media strategies within a defined scope and executes and adapts strategies for larger, more complex accounts that are led by a Senior Paid Media Manager or Director.

This is a full-time position for candidates located within drive time of our Studio in Oakville, Ontario, Canada.

Responsibilities

Paid Media Ad Execution

  • Execute paid media strategies ensuring alignment with project scope, client goals, budgets, and KPIs
  • Create and develop paid media strategies within a defined scope,, including channel selection, budget allocation, targeting approach, and testing plans
  • Execute and adapt strategies for larger or more complex accounts under the direction of a Senior Paid Media Manager or Director
  • Build, manage, and optimize paid media campaigns across platforms including Google, Meta, LinkedIn, and others as required
  • Implement best-practice campaign structures, targeting methodologies, bids, and budget controls
  • Set up and monitor goals, KPIs, and conversion tracking to ensure performance accuracy
  • Develop paid media insights backed by data and performance trends
  • Produce and test ad copy, collaborating with the Creative team as needed
  • Proactively identify, diagnose, and resolve campaign performance or delivery issues

Analytics, Tracking & Reporting

  • Apply tracking and measurement best practices across all campaign platforms
  • Analyze campaign performance and user behavior using Google Analytics 4 and platform data
  • Accurately track and monitor KPIs to ensure reporting integrity
  • Support Google Tag Manager setups and troubleshoot basic tracking issues
  • Identify optimization opportunities based on performance insights and implement agreed-upon improvements
  • Produce clear, accurate performance reports that communicate results, insights, and next steps to clients

Conversion Rate Optimization

  • Evaluate performance and user behavior using Microsoft Clarity or other heat-mapping and session recording tools
  • Develop and implement optimization solutions to improve conversion rates and campaign efficiency
  • Identify conversion blockers and growth opportunities within landing pages and funnels
  • Apply conversion best practices in collaboration with the Web Production team as needed
  • Support A/B testing of offers, creatives, and copy
  • Implement foundational conversion rate boosters such as trust signals, CTAs, urgency, and clarity improvements

Account & Stakeholder Support

  • Own and support day-to-day account management and execution responsibilities
  • Participate in client calls, performance reviews, and internal strategy discussions
  • Surface performance trends, risks, and growth opportunities for review with Senior team members
  • Support strategic recommendations by providing data, insights, and execution context

AI, Innovation & Market Relevance

  • Stay current on platform updates, betas, and industry best practices
  • Apply AI tools for keyword expansion, creative ideation, performance analysis, and workflow efficiency
  • Translate new platform capabilities and AI advancements into practical execution and optimization strategies

Operational Excellence & Accountability

  • Maintain accurate time tracking and project updates
  • Deliver campaigns on time, on budget, and to defined quality standards
  • Support Sales with paid media input, performance context, and forecasting support as required


Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of paid media experience (agency experience preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and paid social platforms
  • Google Ads certification required (additional certifications are an asset)
  • Experience with analytics and reporting tools such as Google Analytics and Looker Studio
  • Understanding of landing pages, conversion tracking, and inbound marketing fundamentals

Skills

  • Strong understanding of paid media performance metrics (CPA, ROAS, conversions, KPIs)
  • Ability to build, manage, and optimize paid media campaigns
  • Knowledge of digital advertising best practices and platform standards
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including client-facing communication
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • Ability to learn new tools, platforms, and processes quickly
  • Comfortable working in an Apple-based environment and Google Drive
