Position Overview:

As a Modifications Specialist, you will be responsible for assembling, upgrading, and modifying our shredding containers and accessories. You’ll work closely with the production and operations teams to ensure all modifications meet client specifications, quality standards, and operational efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Perform modifications on bins, carts, and other shredding products based on customer requirements.
🔹 Install or assemble components such as locks, casters, and panels.
🔹 Operate tools and equipment safely and precisely.
🔹 Collaborate with the operations team to improve modification processes.
🔹 Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
🔹 Identify and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency.
🔹 Track and report completed modifications for accurate inventory and workflow management.
🔹 Load and unload trucks using jacks or forklifts when necessary.
🔹 Follow all safety procedures and use proper PPE.

Qualifications & Skills:

✅ Experience in manufacturing, assembly, or a related hands-on role.
✅ Mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand and power tools.
✅ Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
✅ Ability to read and follow work orders or modification specifications.
✅ Comfortable with repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
✅ Problem-solving skills and adaptability.
✅ Strong organizational skills.
✅ Ability to lift and handle heavy materials as needed.
