12 Month Maternity Contract


Job Purpose:

Designing original pieces, including illustrations and infographics, and managing design projects from conception to delivery. Reviewing work to ensure high quality, accuracy and brand standards throughout all the designs created.


Key Responsibilities and Accountability:

  • Design marketing materials for all online and print advertising, including product catalogues, social media graphics, email and webinar graphics, and website assets
  • Assist in quality control of all creative outputs in line with brand standards, including proofing and reviewing deliverables and project processes
  • Support the production side of graphics, including sales requests, mock-ups, quotes and orders
  • Assist other departments with their various requests for artwork (ex. advise and test sign/label options for new products, creation of new forms, design of sales enablement materials etc.)
  • Collaborate with various teams in the launch of new products with logo creation, photography, etc.
  • Discuss and conceptualize ideas with the marketing team for various projects
  • Help coordinate projects between the marketing team and the graphics team
  • Plan, schedule and oversee/give direction to produce photoshoots or video shoots
  • Capture and edit studio photography and upload to appropriate channels
  • Coordinate website updates with the Web Development Team
  • Maintain organization of files and folders on the Graphics and Marketing servers
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working in graphic design within a marketing team
  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
  • Excellent collaborative skills for working in a team environment
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure within tight deadlines
  • B2B marketing experience considered an asset
  • Photography/videography skills considered an asset
  • Candidates selected for an interview will be asked to provide a portfolio of related work
