Role Description

As a recruiter you are responsible to manage and execute full cycle recruitment initiatives in multiple geographical areas and multiple employer brands. You will be responsible for drafting and posting new positions to multiple job boards; develop strong relationships with local recruitment partners; and engage in telephone, remote, and in person interviews on an ongoing basis.

This role requires strong organizational skills; an ability to handle multiple on-going recruitment cycles; have strong professional communication skills and an ability to frame opportunities in a positive light.

This is a part time contract role for 6 months at 20 hours per week. Opportunity for extension and/or full time permanent.

Core Functions

Talent Attraction

  • Identify and develop key messages to increase employer brand throughout local regions
  • Establish positive relationships with local recruitment partners to increase employer brand exposure
  • Identify impactful recruitment channels and monitor applications
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports on talent pool health and obstacles


  • Review all applications that are submitted and review against key success factors
  • Initiate introduction calls with candidates to position employer brand
  • Conduct phone interviews to identify candidate competencies and behaviors
  • Provide high potential candidate profiles to local hiring managers
  • Coordinate in-person working interviews with local hiring managers


  • Conduct reference and background checks as required by local regulations
  • Collect and validate licenses and training certificates
  • Administer all appropriate new hire documentation such as offer letters, insurance documents, and policy and procedures forms
  • Ensure a smooth transition from candidate to employee through the first week of employment

Core Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent education
  • 2 years’ experience conducting phone and in-person interviews
  • Experience working with multiple departments and business partners an asset
  • Comfortable working virtually and in remote settings
  • Comfortable working in office 1-2 days a week
