Who We Are | Bluevale Capital
Bluevale Capital is a boutique, real estate private equity firm that specializes in value-add, development and special situational multi-residential projects. Over the past two years, the firm has completed over $250M of transactions with the intention of creating a $1B+ real estate fund over the next 2-3 years. By working with government leaders, and by partnering with our sponsors and lenders, the company’s vision is to create 10,000+ residential units with a focus on tackling the affordable housing crisis in North America. We are currently putting together a stellar team that will help achieve this goal.
Role Overview
The Associate / Senior Associate, Fund Finance will support and help drive fund-level finance, quarterly reporting, financial controls, and governance across Bluevale’s platform. The role sits at the center of fund operations and financial oversight, with exposure across the fund, GP / investment manager entities, and underlying projects or portfolio-level entities.
This individual will be expected to do more than produce reports. They should understand how reporting flows through a platform, how economics and obligations move across entities, where risk can emerge, and how to build rigor into processes so the fund operates consistently in Bluevale’s best interests.
The successful candidate will be comfortable operating across recurring reporting cycles, liquidity analysis, reconciliations, internal reviews, cross-functional coordination, and special projects. They will also serve as an internal safeguard — someone who can identify inconsistencies, challenge weak processes, and help maintain a high standard of financial discipline across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
· Support quarterly fund reporting, including preparation, review, reconciliation, and delivery of accurate, timely materials across fund, GP / investment manager, and project-level entities.
· Monitor fund, manager, and project-level performance, including capital activity, liquidity, cash movements, and key financial metrics.
· Build and maintain cash flow models to support forecasting, liquidity planning, scenario analysis, and capital needs assessment.
· Help ensure strong compliance, controls, and governance by identifying reporting or process risks, improving documentation and discipline, and supporting internal standards.
· Coordinate across internal teams and external stakeholders, including investors, auditors, lenders, administrators, consultants, legal, and tax advisors.
· Contribute to ad hoc analysis, strategic initiatives, and ongoing improvements to reporting frameworks and operating processes.

· Strong background in quarterly reporting, cash flow forecasting, and financial analysis.

· Exposure to working with external fund administrators, auditors, tax advisors, and lenders.
· Experience in environments where financial rigor, governance, and cross-functional coordination are critical.
