Internship - Paid Summer Position

Location:             Biggar, onsite
Position Type:   Full-Time (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)

About Us:

Join a community-focused credit union and get hands-on experience across multiple departments! This internship is a change to explore financial services, build skills, and connect with mentors – all while gaining insight into how credit unions operate.

What you’ll do:

·         Rotate through the Frontline, Financial Services, Lending, Marketing, Technology, Insurance, and HR departments. Spend time with insurance brokers at Biggar & District Insurance Services.

·         Support day-to-day operations and projects.

·         Learn from department managers and executive mentors.

·         Create and deliver a presentation on a relevant topic for our leadership team.

·         Build skills in teamwork, communication, and professional financial services practices.

Who you are:

·         Currently studying Business, Finance, Financial Services, or Agriculture (completed at least 1 year of post-secondary education).

·         Curious about credit unions and cooperatives.

·         Professional, reliable, and eager to learn.

·         You must be bondable and pass a background check.
