Basketball Development Coach

Orangeville Basketball is renowned for its rich history of excellence and dedication to nurturing top-tier Canadian basketball talent. Our prep program has a proven track record of success, and we are now expanding to elevate the next generation of players with our new Development Academy.

Position Overview:

We are seeking passionate and skilled basketball development coaches to join our team. With multiple positions available, we invite candidates at all levels—Head Coaches, Assistant Coaches, and Skills and Development Coaches—to apply. Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement coaching strategies and training programs.

- Mentor and guide players to achieve their full potential.

- Collaborate with fellow coaches and staff to enhance the overall program.

- Participate in player evaluations and provide constructive feedback.

- Contribute to a positive and competitive training environment.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in basketball coaching or training.

- Strong understanding of basketball techniques, tactics, and player development.

- Excellent communication and leadership skills.

- Ability to inspire and motivate young athletes.

- Relevant coaching certifications and/or playing experience preferred.
