Fundraising Coordinator

Position Overview

Are you passionate about fundraising, building meaningful donor relationships, and helping to make a measurable difference? ANIDA is looking for a Fundraising Coordinator to join our team and play an important role in strengthening our fundraising and donor engagement efforts.

Reporting to the Fundraising Manager, the Coordinator will bring fundraising initiatives to life through campaign coordination, donor stewardship, Hope Builders, events, corporate partnerships, digital giving, and fundraising communications. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building relationships, staying organized, taking initiative, and seeing their work translate into real results for the communities ANIDA serves.

The Coordinator will take ownership of the day-to-day implementation of approved fundraising activities, including ANIDA’s Hope Builders recurring giving program, donor follow-up and stewardship, campaign administration, and fundraising reporting. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute ideas, build practical fundraising expertise, and grow within a collaborative nonprofit environment, while working closely with the Fundraising Manager and broader ANIDA team.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants more than an administrative fundraising role and is excited to take ownership of projects, connect with donors and partners, and help grow ANIDA’s fundraising efforts.

Key Responsibilities

1. Fundraising Campaigns & Hope Builders (30%)

  • Collaborate with the Fundraising Manager to implement approved fundraising campaigns and initiatives aligned with ANIDA’s goals and values.
  • Lead the day-to-day implementation of Hope Builders, including donor onboarding, renewals, payment follow-up, donor communications, and reporting, within approved strategies, targets, budgets, and messaging.

  • Respond to assigned donor inquiries and support donor retention and ongoing engagement.
  • Maintain accurate donor records and stewardship activity in ANIDA’s donor CRM.
  • Support donation processing and reconciliation by providing Finance with required information; Finance maintains responsibility for reconciliation and receipting compliance.
  • Prepare and maintain fundraising reports, including campaign results, donor retention, recurring gifts, outstanding follow-up, and CRM accuracy.

3. Fundraising Communications & Digital Giving (15%)

  • Prepare and coordinate fundraising-related email communications, donor updates, campaign materials, and digital content using approved messaging.
  • Support campaign-related social media content and digital outreach.
  • Maintain fundraising-related print and digital materials, including flyers, presentations, short videos, and impact materials.
  • Maintain online donation pages and help ensure a clear, accessible, and seamless donor experience.
  • Ensure fundraising communications and materials are accurate, consistent with ANIDA’s messaging and branding, and appropriately approved before publication.

4. Events & Corporate Partnerships (20%)

  • Plan and coordinate fundraising and donor engagement events, including preparation, execution, donor engagement, and follow-up.
  • Maintain existing corporate relationships, coordinate corporate volunteer visits to the food bank and support corporate orientations.
  • Research prospective corporate partners and support outreach, while referring strategic partnership decisions to the Fundraising Manager or Executive Director.

5. Team & Administrative Support (5%)

  • Provide guidance and coaching to youth or placement students supporting fundraising activities, within the scope established by the Fundraising Manager.
  • Maintain organized fundraising records and documentation.
  • Assist with other reasonable administrative and coordination duties related to fundraising.
