Warehouse Associate

AL13 Architectural Systems is looking to add a new member for our high energy warehouse team. AL13 is a leading innovator of aluminum cladding systems, shipping across North America.

Responsibilities:

• Track and document exact shipment arrival and departure times
• Tag and label product material
• Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area; shipping/mailing
• Operate adequate merchandise management tools
• Enter data in inventory and logistics software programs
• Enforce inventory controls, collecting stock location orders and printing requests
• Provide quality service by following organization standards
• Promote clean shipping supply area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Complete reports by entering required information
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Assist shipping and receiving, unloading trucks and checking in merchandise
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves and/or in bins
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat. Sweep, dust and mop
• Operate tools and machinery to cut wood and aluminum for samples and crating
• Perform Quality Control inspections on products and report deficiencies

Required

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• 1-2 years previous warehouse experience is an asset but not required
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Basic computer and math skills
• Ability to use hand/power tools
• Ability to operate forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment an asset but not required

Salary range depending on experience. Part-time with possibility of full-time. Report to the Supply Chain Manager.
