ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re hiring a Senior Product Manager, Conversational AI to lead strategy and execution for an AI-powered product experience where users engage in interactive, scenario-based conversations to practice real-world situations, improve performance, and validate competency. This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, customer discovery, conversational UX, and AI quality.
You’ll partner closely with engineering to make AI behavior measurable, testable, and reliable—building the loops that move an enterprise conversational AI experience from “impressive demo” to trusted, repeatable outcomes.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own product strategy, roadmap, and delivery for a conversational AI experience end-to-end
- Lead customer discovery with enterprise users and stakeholders to define workflows, pain points, and success metrics
- Translate customer and business needs into clear product requirements (PRDs, acceptance criteria, prioritization)
- Partner closely with engineering to shape conversational AI reliability: guardrails, configuration/context design, and consistency
- Build and maintain an AI improvement loop: define rubrics, create test cases, review failure modes, and drive iteration
- Define instrumentation/logging requirements to support debugging, quality measurement, and ongoing improvement
- Drive iterative releases with clear outcomes and strong feedback loops (customer, internal, and data-driven)
ABOUT YOU
- 5+ years of Product Management experience (B2B SaaS preferred; enterprise experience strongly preferred)
- Strong customer-facing discovery and product judgment: able to turn ambiguity into a prioritized plan
- Strong execution skills: can drive clarity, make tradeoffs, and ship consistently with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with AI platform concepts (prompt/version management, monitoring, traceability)
- Hands-on experience iterating prompts in production, including versioning, release discipline, and measuring impact
- Strong familiarity with LLM/AI evaluation concepts, such as rubrics, golden test sets, regression testing, and comparing prompts/models over time
- Strong experimentation mindset and experience running structured tests to improve AI quality and product outcomes
- Ability to translate “AI reliability” needs into product requirements (guardrails, configuration, deterministic behaviors where needed)
NICE TO HAVE
- Commercial life sciences experience (pharma/biotech go-to-market, field enablement, training/coaching workflows, or customer-facing roles)
- Experience in training/coaching, simulation, assessment, or certification workflows
- Experience in regulated industries or enterprise compliance needs
WHAT YOU'LL ENJOY ABOUT WORKING AT ACTO
- Industry leading, multiple award-winning technology
- Competitive compensation package
- Being part of a mission driven organization with the ability to drive solutions that focus on improving patient outcomes
- Results-driven and collaborative culture
- Remote work with opportunities for in-person collaboration
- Company MacBook
- Budget for work-from-home set-up
- Monthly work-from-home allowance
- Flex hours (overlapping with our core hours)
- Participation in group benefits plan
- Flexible PTO
