Why work with 3twenty?

We are innovators, collaborators, and builders. We live by and represent the core values of our business – trust, collaboration, innovation, win-win, fun, and relationships. Hear from some of our team members on what it’s like to work here.

What you’ll do:

  •  Provide overview and navigation in all aspects of interior design: programming, schematic design, working drawings, presentations, and contract administration.
  • Prepare contract documents, including floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, finish plans, furniture, fixtures, equipment (FF&E) plans, power and communication plans, interior elevations, millwork sections and details, schedules, general notes and information. All of which must comply with the National Building Code.
  • Research, select and specify interior and exterior products suitable for the project's application, design intent and overall budget.
  • Prepare and overview preliminary costing and comparative material sourcing.
  • Develop renderings of conceptual designs for effective execution of working drawings and design intent.
  • Coordinate with project managers, internal architectural technologists and sub-consultants and assist as necessary with contract administration during the construction process.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Who you’ll work with:

The Team: You will collaborate closely with our Senior Interior Designers and Architectural Technologists to meet our clients' needs and create meaningful designs. During the construction phases, you will work closely with our team of our Project Management team and Site Superintendents to bring projects to life.

Collaborators: By forming key relationships with our supply chain and subcontractors, we collaborate on designs that result in high-quality, cost-efficient builds for our customers.

Customers: You will work closely with our customers during all project phases. By applying a collaborative, win-win design-build approach, we believe the construction process can be a fun, positive, and rewarding experience for our team and our customers.

What you’ll bring:

  •  5 or more years of experience as an interior designer or related position. (Individuals with fewer years of experience may be considered.)
  • A degree or diploma in Interior Design or related field.
  • National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) certification or working towards.
  • Registered Member of the Interior Designers Association of Saskatchewan (IDAS).
  • Proficiency with Revit or ArchiCAD required.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup, and Twinmotion is considered an asset.
  • Interest in all areas of design, including commercial, educational, institutional, and industrial markets.

What we offer:

  •  Competitive wages, a comprehensive benefits package, and an employer-contributed pension plan.
  • A forward-thinking company committed to redefining the construction experience.
  • This opportunity requires in-person work, although we offer a flexible work environment and allow employees to work from home when it makes sense for them.
  • Flexible schedules! We just ask that staff start consistently between 7:30 and 9:00 a.m. and work an 8-hour day.

We value diversity—in background and in experience. 3twenty needs people from all backgrounds and walks of life to help bring our projects to life. We are deliberate about the team we are building, as we believe our people make all the difference in cultivating a culture of collaboration and innovation.
